Owings Mills, Md. – Jeffrey S. Yablon today announces his candidacy for District 11 of the Maryland State Senate with endorsement from Governor Bob Ehrlich. An attorney at law and small business owner based in Owing Mills, Yablon champions
small business and the entrepreneurial spirit along with hard work and integrity.
“I believe in anticipating and confronting issues to make a real difference in the days to come,” says Yablon. “As a small business owner, I have experience forecasting
events that will impact my business and employees and I believe the residents of Maryland deserve someone to look out for their best interests in Annapolis.”
Governor Ehrlich’s endorsement demonstrates his confidence in Yablon’s leadership.

volunteerism,” says Governor Ehrlich. “Coupled with his strong business sense, the constituents of District 11 will find valuable representation with Jeffrey in the state
Senate.”
Born in Cheverly, Md., Yablon grew up on Long Island, N.Y. and steadily moved his extended family back to Maryland since he relocated in 1992. Yablon earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from The State University of New York at Binghamton in 1989 and went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree in 1992 from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College in Huntington, N.Y. During law school, Yablon served on the staff of the Touro Law Review and on the school’s admissions committee.
A practicing attorney in the state of Maryland since 1993, Yablon has over 10 years experience in the title industry and established Huntington Title & Escrow in 2000. He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, the Maryland Land Title Association and the Better Business Bureau. Yablon also participates in many political, philanthropic and religious organizations including serving as treasurer for the Baltimore Zionist District and a founding member of the Owings Mills-Reisterstown Rotary Club. He also served as a member of the Presidential Congressional Committee for Small Business Affairs.
Yablon lives in Owings Mills with his wife, Paige, and two children.
